Profound Luxury. Jeff Koons signs on the mega yacht Guilty.
A vessel of 35 meters designed by renowned designer Ivana Porfiry and designed by Jeff Koons, a leading contemporary artist, was commissioned by Dakis Joannou, Cypriot entrepreneur of the major collectors of contemporary art.
A hull that does not go unnoticed with a riot of colours and geometric shapes worthy of the most innovative works of art of pop art.
Technology and luxury are combined in Yacht Guilty inspired, as the artist explains in an interview with Forbes, the camouflage pattern of the British ships of the First World War designed by Norman Wilkinson and known as " Razzle Dazzle". To this other inspirations were added as the image of a "dialogue between the idea and the image of the pyramids of the oases and mirages".
Remarkable is also the influence of Liechtenstein, apparently not desired by Koons , but definitely detectable in the approach of bold contrasting colours and shapes; elements to be absolutely harmonized inside the boat where predominate is a " blank canvas "on which verves natural light entering through the large windows.
The result is a precious vessel unique where everything speaks of luxury and art.
