Reiki is part of the ancient Japanese arts, is a technique of holistic wellness that was introduced in 1922 by Master Mikao Usui. It is based mainly on self-meditation, through the use of the hands, for the transmission of energy.
Reiki draws its strength and effectiveness by the love and energy of the universe, the same word means " universal life energy " and the union of two concepts: REI called " universal energy " which is everything that surrounds us, a force that is present in all cultures and religions of the world, and from KI that in traditional Chinese medicine and martial arts is translated into " energy flowing in the body," which circulates in the meridians and internal organs.
Reiki allows, through the reduction of stress, the reinstatement of physical health through the use of " Universal Life Energy ". It is often seen as a self –healing technique. It ' a practice which has nothing to do with religions , philosophies but it is a simple technique that anyone can practice. Simplicity of practice and learning , immediacy of results, the great strength of balancing mind and emotions, the absence of side effects: are the main strengths of Reiki.
Reiki is transmitted by the practitioner transferring the energy through their hands to various parts of the person’s body to receive a wide range of pleasant and intense sensations, and eliminating the tensions channeling throughout the body, a new universal life-giving energy, initiating the process of healing the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional areas of the body. Reiki, the simple healthy awareness of one's internal energy and its use in life, with the aim of reaching a large inner harmonization and the physical and mental wellbeing.
